We are so excited to gather  at Sacred Mountain Waters as a community. We have done so much powerful work together and are honored to fill this temple with song, prayer and community once again.

Ancestral Remembrance & Honoring
The veil grows thin as autumn deepens and the harvest draws near. We gather in the sacred direction of the West —the place of Water, of endings and remembrance, where we turn to face those who have walked before us.
The wheel turns toward the celebration of Samhain, as the fields have offered their last gifts and the leaves release their hold. In this season of letting go, we open our hearts to our ancestors—beloved, forgotten, and unknown.
Our weekend will conclude shortly before the Full Moon in the waters of Pisces on Monday October 26th, illuminating the threshold between worlds .
Across every culture and spiritual lineage on Earth, humanity has always known: the dead are not gone. They are woven into us — in our blood, our wounds, our gifts, our unfinished prayers. The Buddhists light lanterns and burn offerings for hungry ghosts at Obon. The Yoruba and Candomblé traditions call upon the Egungun, the collective ancestors who counsel and protect the living. Día de los Muertos opens the portal with marigolds and song. The Mormon tradition carries the practice of temple work —proxy ordinances offered on behalf of those who have passed, so that no soul is left without a door opened for them. The Santo Daime gather on Missa Mondays to pray for the departed, singing hymns that build a bridge between this world and the next. The Celts honor Samhain as the night when ancestors could walk freely among the living. Indigenous traditions around the world tend altars, make offerings, speak names aloud — because a soul remembered is a soul at peace.
Join us as we sit with grief and with love. Join us as we sing, pray, be still, and listen to the voices of the ancestors.
