Men's AYAH: Sowing Seeds

Dear Brothers,

As the earth awakens from its winter slumber, sprouting new life and possibility, we extend a heartfelt invitation to join us in honoring the sacred masculine energy that stirs within you during this season of sowing seeds.  Spring calls us to action—to plant seeds of intention, to nurture growth, and to harness the creative force that flows through all living things. This is a time when the masculine principle of initiation, protection, and purpose-driven action aligns perfectly with nature’s own rhythms.

We invite you to gather in community to explore how the energies of spring can help us connect more deeply with our authentic masculine essence. This ceremony weekend also serves as the beginning of  our journey towards our Men’s Rites of Passage happening in August this year. This ceremony carries with it the intention to begin sowing the seeds for this deep work we will do together through exploring our relationship to the elements, to the seasons, to each other, and our Highest Self.

Meet the Facilitator:

David has had a lifelong affinity to connect with mother nature in an intimate way and is passionate about helping others do the same; to understand Her essence, and learn to live harmoniously with Her.  He is currently enrolled in a vigorous training program learning to facilitate vision quest fasts and rites of passage. Vision quest is a practice from the ‘Red Road’ tradition which originated from Native Americans and includes sweat lodge, vision quests, chanupa tobacco prayers, among many other rituals. This training combines indigenous practices and rites of passage initiations from various lineages across continents. David has had many years of life experience to prepare for this program, including completing the Appalachian Trail in 2015, Wilderness EMT training, and Rites of Passage Facilitation and Guide training with Kedar Brown.  David specializes in his work with men, providing healing spaces where men gather, pray, and bring balance and integrity to the divine masculine and feminine within each person. David is passionate about discovering what it means to take responsibility, to be a protector, a provider, to learn how to truly be a man in society, and help others do the same
