Summer Solstice Community Ayah (OUTDOORS/DAYTIME)
With Alanna, David and Truth is One Interfaith Church
June 20 - 22, 2026
Please note **This event is in CONJUNCTION with our 4 day feitio immersion** as we open the space for others to join for the experience of feitio, having hot fresh sacred tea brewing through out the duration of these ceremonies.
TIO FEITIO: Brewing Ayah – The process of harvesting, preparing, and brewing ayahuasca is known as “feitio” in Brazil. This is a sacred process done in a variety of ways depending on the lineage, location, and traditions. We invite you to participate with Truth is One as we embark as a community on this sacred journey of holding our very own feitio for the first time on our land here in the USA.
Join us on either Saturday June 20th and/or Sunday June 21st to celebrate the summer solstice and participate in the last 2 days of our first community Ayah Feitio.
During the Summer Solstice, as the sun reaches its strongest point on the medicine wheel, light pours into everything it touches including the tea we will be brewing. It is a time of peak action, intensity, focus, power, and light. Cooking medicine and being in prayer during the summer solstice brings great auspiciousness as we call in the forces of light to pour into this sacred tea for the healing of our world.
This is a time where we can reflect on the actions we wish to take in the world, how can we act with more justice, righteousness, integrity, and love?
The act of cooking our own medicine together is the closest we have come to the ancient way, to the living tradition of communities who grew, prepared, brewed, and prayed together as one body. Now, in 2026, on this mountain in western North Carolina, we are being given that same opportunity.
These ceremonies are both DAYTIME AND OUTDOORS at our rites of passage covered ceremonial area at our home in Burnsville, NC.
