Women's Ayah Fall Equinox- Floyd, VA

We invite you to gather as women, sisters, elders, mothers, daughters, crones, and grandmothers as we celebrate the autumn season just following the fall equinox with the potency of the Aries full moon on Saturday September 26th.

This is known as the harvest moon and sets the fiery independent energy of Aries in direct polarity to the cooperative, emotional and relationship focused, Libra sun.  

Autumn is in the direction of the west on the medicine wheel, the place of the water, of slowing down, of being in flow and harmony with life. This is the season that teaches us about balance, tuning ourselves with the sunrise and sunset, taking more rest as darkness sets in and the days become shorter.

During this harvest full moon, we take this time to reflect on our lives, what have we harvested? Did the seeds that were sown bear fruit in our lives? Do we have an abundant harvest to share? 

We are blessed and grateful to continue our work with our beautiful community of women coming from VA, MD, PA, NJ, and the greater DC area to gather in Floyd at the gorgeous Shanti Temple. 

Please Bring: Sleeping nest, potluck dish, swimsuit & towel, ceremony attire, eye mask, and ear plugs. Ceremonies will be held indoors & overnight.

Financial Privilege Tier Per Night Contribution Guidelines:

TIER #3: Financially Comfortable – $300-400/night

TIER #2: Financially Tight – $200-300/night

TIER #1: Financially Stressed – $150-200/night

Lodging: Communal accommodations included, all participants are welcome to stay in the ceremony space for the duration of the retreat. Camping is welcome but please note there are NO showers on site. If you would like some creature comforts and additional privacy please plan to book a local airbnb in Floyd, VA or surrounding areas.
